2011: Looking Back (August to December)

In August, I shared my messy purse, got some great mail, went to the Folk Festival, and shared a tour of my mom's craft room (here and here) I also took a Blog 101 course by Ashley from After Nine to Five, and learned a lot! I also made my first sale in my Etsy shop!

In September, I went on a knitting pub crawl, and finally shared the news that I was going back to school full time, after a crazy August of trying to make it happen. I reminisced on 9/11, went to the Jazz Festival/ Nuit Blanche, and had a back to school blog party with lots of guest posts and giveaways, and went to a wedding of a friend from university.

In October, I shared my photos from Culture Days, (one of which got into the Globe and Mail) where I tried my hand at some screenprinting. I got a new job, had a lovely Friendsgiving with some friends,  thought a bit about the simple life, was a featured Etsy shop on a friend's blog, wrote a post for Blog Action Day  and did my first sponsored post . I did my first photoshoot for my Etsy shop with some friends, said goodbye to a pet,  shared a few Halloween costumes (here and here) and went to a super fun Halloween party. I also shared a few fun DIYs ( here , here and here)

In November, I did my first sponsored giveaway, went camping with the Brownies again (indoors, don't worry!), shared some of my favourite music, had a fun baking night with friends, shared a tutorial for friendship bracelets and had my first Cyber Monday sale in my Etsy shop.

In December, I shared a custom order,  participated in a Handmade Gift Exchange, did my first giveaway as a part of Sew Mama Sew's giveaway day, planned out some crafting and shared some of the results. I also shared some thoughts on jobs, as well as my theme for the coming year.

Wow! Quite a year, with a lot more going on here than I'd originally thought! I'm pleased that you all have shared my blogging journey with me, and I hope you'll continue to visit me this year as well:)
