Day 2 - What colors are meaningful to you and why?

Colour-wise, I've always loved BRIGHT colours. Loud, shout in your face, crazy pattern colours.

When I got to paint my room as a kid, I painted it this colour.

It was sponge-painted and had a border of celestial signs around the top of the room that I stencilled on with a stencil and spray paint. ( I won't lie, the symbols I chose might have been all the symbols of the Sailor Scouts from Sailor Moon--I *loved* that show back then)
The bright colours thing also extends into the clothes I seem to wear most and like. I don't have pictures that I can find of some of my brighter outfits, but here are a few examples of the bright clothes + patterns that I enjoy !

Overall I think my love of bright colours and patterns had a lot to do with just really loving the seventies, and patterns like paisley and swirls, and overall just wanting to bring a little colour and fun into my life (5 years of high school uniforms did this to me perhaps?)

And now for the fun part --examples of some of my favourite patterns!
