Retro Kitchen Love

I'm just back from my parent's place, where I was in the midst of extreme kitchen envy. Guys, they have a gas stove--with a convection oven! Two ovens in fact, all in one, with different controls, so you can cook a roast and a pie at the SAME TIME? Seriously, I am sort of sad that I know this exists now, and that I don't have one.

So to appease myself, here are some pictures of pretty retro kitchens that I want to have one day. And I'll put my own gas stove in it!




Probably I'll also dress up and hang out in my fun kitchen like this too

Ahhh...makes me want to go out and find my dream kitchen, but it will have to wait, as dinner is a callin'! Unfortunately the dinner is to be made on my crappy apartment stove, but at this point, anything will do!

    We have the same tastes in kitchens!!! I love all your pics. My dad restores old stoves like the green one you have in the pics, he has been doing it for over 40 years. We are in the process of teaching me the business.

    I love these pictures! It is my dream to have a retro kitchen when I finally get to own a home. So much more personality than what you see now.
