ReplyDeleteFavourite valentine's memory? That's a tough one - not the one where I had a really, really bad cold & it was our first valentines together; not the one where we had a row about politics (I was going on a demo the next morning) and broke a Champagne glass... and oh yes, since then we decided not to celebrate valentines anymore! Can I switch in the amazing moment on a tower of the Alhambra Palace in Grenada, Spain, when he asked me to marry him?
Thank you for this cute international giveaway!.. Last year I celebrated my first Valentine's day with my husband. He brought me flowers and a red teddy when he returned from work. Then we both went for a lavish dinner which cost like 4 times what we usually have on a routine day. It was all worth it. I loved that evening!

I don't really have a favorite one.. I have one that has stuck with my through the years, mostly because I was 1: in 2nd grade and 2: was embarrassed. I had a crush on a boy in my class, and made him a special Valentines card, when it came time to open our Valentines, I got super nervous and hid in the school bathroom. I remember hearing the boy opened the card, and exclaim loudly who it was from.. needless to say, I was dragged out of the bathroom by the teacher aid, and delt with the snickers and laughter from fellow classmates. In the end? The boy stuck up for me, by telling the other kids to leave me alone.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is the year my husband surprized me with a dozen roses.

I met my BF and we are in relationship 2 years :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite valentine's day memory is from middle school when I received a candy gram from a secret admirer.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a teenager I received a big bunch of flowers. They used a false name Mr Raffles. I never worked out who sent them but it makes it a bit more exciting.
ReplyDeleteFavorite Valentine memory was from when I was home from school with the flu (really, truly bad to keep me home!) on 2/14 in third grade. My teacher and classmates sent home Valentines, candy, and get-well notes along with my assignments for the day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
